Lebanon Family Health Services is part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program, led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This proven program can help people with pre-diabetes and/or at risk for type 2 diabetes make achievable and realistic lifestyle changes and cut their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58 percent. Lebanon Family Health Services is now offering a year-long program with 16 weekly sessions and 6 monthly follow-up sessions with trained lifestyle coaches who empower participants to take charge of their health. Classes begin January 8 at 11:30am at the Lebanon Senior Center, January 23 at 6pm at Covenant United Methodist Church (in Spanish) and February 24 at 4pm at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital.
